Hi all!
I had my Final Interview on the 22nd of October, but im so unsure of how it went!
I had a 4am start to get the coach at 5.25am to London. I got there at 7.20 and met with a Jane(our coaches arrived at the same time, how convenient!) Then we made our way to Hammersmith, which took SO LONG. When we finally arrived, we made our way to Starbucks, and met with loads of people (:
Disney HQ is AMAZING. The stairs even have mickey ears on them! The place where we were led was simply unreal. There was Disney movie posters everywhere! Original cartoon drawings and a bust of Walt! I was in my element! After signing in we were led into a theatre for our presentation, which was so good! However, I took such a bad coughing fit in the middle of it!! I mean there was tears coming down my face trying to hold it in.. Not a good look, and I was in the front row!
I won another prize at the Q&A part! I got a luggage tag for answering that WDW opened in 1971. (:
Sue, the woman giving the presentation, explained to us that Jim, one of the interviews, was running late due to his being flight being cancelled and he would be joining us at some point during the day. Something told me that I needed to be interviewed by him, so I was like praying to god he’d be the one to interview me.
When it came to interviews, I was in the first Interview group. So one by one we all got interviewed. Eventually Jim showed up, first he sat in on an interview to see how things were going down, then he started doing his. I was the last one to be interview in my group, and low and behold; I was his first Interview! Im not sure however, if that helped or hindered me..
Obviously he had to go quick but it wasn’t his fault. The questions were pretty straight forward, but I felt I didn’t really get to finish most questions, as he had to move on quick. I said some good stuff about why I want to do the program, and the roles I picked and talked a lot about relevant experience I had.
I didnt feel very confident coming out though, in fact i just when in the bathroom and cried haha. But looking back, Im hoping the good stuff I said will triumph. :/

We’ll we find out on the 9th of November, so only just over 2 weeks away.

The paperwork for this program is just unbelievable! Haha!
Theres not much, but Universities are so friggin picky! haha. After days of trying, I finally got my Proof of Student Status and University Accreditation letter sorted. I’ve book my 5am coach, printed out a map, photocopied my passport and updated my CV.
Im completely ready to go! Im away for the weekend with my University this weekend too. I wont have a minute to myself for AGES haha! (:
based on a comment i just made on a facebook group, I just had the most awesome idea ever:
A couple hundred of us should all make reservations at the same time in the ball room of the be our guest restaurant. We’d have it for maybe a couple hours and we could all come dressed as beauty and the beast characters and have a beauty and the beast themed ball like in the video.
I’m just sayin’ …. I like the idea, it could be like the new dapper day :p

The new Be our Guest restaurant in Fantasyland basically proving itself to be the prettiest restaurant in the history of ever xD
So today I went to the library and tried to sort everything out for Disney, because I have such a busy week! We have to fill in an application form, print it out and bring it with us. A long with like 10 other things! (Photocopies of Passport, actual passport, birth cert, proof of student status, etc) I booked my coach for 5am, with a 7:20 arrival, and booked one back for 18:30. Going to be a loooooooong day! Hopefully it will be worth it though.
I got everything done but my proof of status, which I need to go back tomorrow and sort out. Hopefully it wont take long, you know how Uni admin staff can be! haha.
I also checked the library system for books on Walt Disney World, and they had a really good one, but I cant work the moving bookshelves! Ahhh! That kind of technology is just not my friend lol.
Right now everything is set in a wee folder just waiting to go. I have a residential this weekend too. But I have to stay in all week to save money ): Bummer. Going to drag by now! haha.
